Nigeria Police Academy Admission Form 2025/2026 | 12th Regular Course. The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano, has opened applications for its 12th Regular Course. This is your chance to earn a university degree and join the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
Application Timeline
The application portal opened on 28 July 2025 and will close on 8 September 2025. That’s a six-week window. Don’t delay—late submissions won’t be accepted.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Have a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- Have taken the 2025 UTME, scored at least 180, and selected POLAC as first choice
- Have six credits (including English and Mathematics) in WAEC or NECO, in no more than two sittings
- Be between 16 and 21 years old by 31 October 2025
- Be physically and mentally fit
- Be at least 1.67m tall (males) or 1.64m (females)
- Males must also have a chest measurement of at least 86cm
- Be single, not pregnant, and not married
- Own a valid phone number and email address
- Present only O’level results from 2021 onwards
How to Apply
- Visit the Nigeria Police Academy admission portal
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code
- Pay ₦6,000 at any commercial bank (covers application and screening test)
- Return to the portal to complete the online form
- Upload the following:
- O’Level result
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of origin
- Print the completed application form and guarantor form
What Happens Next?
1. Aptitude Test
All applicants will take a computer-based test (CBT) at the Academy in Wudil. Test details will be shared via email.
2. Physical Screening
Shortlisted candidates will attend physical screening with:
- Original copies of all credentials
- Medical fitness certificate from a government hospital
- Letter of character from traditional/community leader
- Certificate of local government origin
- A filled guarantor form (from a Grade Level 13 officer, CSP, or senior officer in the military or paramilitary)
3. Medical Screening
Those who pass the physical test proceed to a full medical check.
4. Final Interview
This final step determines who gets admitted. Successful applicants will be notified via SMS and email.

Duration and Outcome
The program runs for five years, combining academic and police training. Graduates earn a Bachelor’s degree and are commissioned directly into the Nigeria Police Force as ASP II.
