NDA 2025 Interview Update: Key Information for Shortlisted Candidates
Candidates who participated in the screening test on Saturday, 14 June 2025, and passed have now been invited to the next stage—the interview process with the AFSB.
The interview will be held at the NDA Ribadu Campus in Kaduna, starting on Saturday, 28 June and ending on Saturday, 16 August 2025. To manage the number of participants, candidates have been divided into two batches based on their state of origin.

Batch 1
Interview Period: Saturday, 28 June – Friday, 18 July 2025
States:
Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, FCT (Abuja), Imo, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Osun, Plateau, Taraba
Batch 2
Interview Period: Saturday, 19 July – Friday, 8 August 2025
States:
Abia, Adamawa, Benue, Delta, Enugu, Ekiti, Edo, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa, Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Sokoto, Yobe, Zamfara
Important Notice:
- Candidates in Batch 1 must report on Saturday, 28 June. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Candidates in Batch 2 must report on Saturday, 19 July. Arriving before this date will also result in disqualification.
- No exceptions will be made for late or early arrivals.
What to Expect During the Interview
The AFSB interview is a rigorous screening process. It includes:
- Verification of original documents
- Medical and physical fitness assessments
- Group and individual obstacle challenges
- A 3.2-kilometre race
Only candidates who successfully complete all aspects of the screening will move on in the selection process.
Mandatory Documents
Candidates must bring both the original copies and two photocopies of the following documents:
- 2025 JAMB UTME Registration Slip
- NDA Screening Test Admission Card and Acknowledgement Form
- Primary and Secondary School Certificates or Statements of Result
- Birth Certificate (preferred) or Age Declaration
- Indigene Certificate signed by the State Secretary to the Government (SSG) or Local Government Chairman
(Alternatively, a senior military officer from your state can issue this letter; it must include their name, rank, contact information, and official stamp) - Letter of Consent from Parent or Guardian
Note: Consent and attestation forms can be downloaded from the NDA application portal. Candidates who fail to present the required documents, or submit tampered or altered credentials, will be disqualified.
Items to Bring Along
Since candidates will be staying at the NDA for a few weeks, they should come fully prepared. The following items are required:
- Writing materials
- Three blue shorts and three white round-neck T-shirts
- One pair of white training shoes and three pairs of white socks
- Personal toiletries
- ₦3,500 for result verification (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or JAMB)
- WAEC or NECO result checker scratch cards
- Four recent coloured passport photographs
- A second copy of the Postcard Photograph used during the NDA screening test
- Transportation fare to and from Kaduna
The NDA will provide feeding and accommodation throughout the duration of the interview period.

This stage of the NDA admission process is crucial. All shortlisted candidates are advised to strictly adhere to their allocated reporting dates, ensure all required documents are packed, and prepare thoroughly for the physical and academic evaluations. Any lapse, no matter how minor, could cost you your spot.
