NBTE Grants Full Accreditation to 11 Programmes at Audu Bako College of Agriculture Dambatta; The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation to 11 academic programmes at both the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) levels at Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD), Kano State.
In a letter dated August 12, 2025, and signed by the Director of Polytechnic and Allied Programmes, Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar, the NBTE conveyed the results of the Resource Verification/Accreditation Exercise, confirming the approval.

National Diploma (ND):
- ND Home and Rural Economics

Provost’s Reaction
Reacting to the development, the Provost, Prof. M. A. Wailare, described the accreditation as a major boost to the college’s profile. He explained that the rigorous accreditation process demonstrates ABCOAD’s commitment to quality academic standards, modern infrastructure, and skilled faculty.
Prof. Wailare expressed appreciation to the Kano State Government, under Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for funding the process. He also commended the dedication of staff, heads of departments, and stakeholders during preparations and throughout the accreditation exercise.
