About the MPOWER Monthly Scholarships for June 2024

The MPOWER Scholarships, also known as the Summer Series of Scholarships, will award $8,000 USD this summer to support 12 international students in funding their educational dreams. Each month, a new scholarship theme is announced on the first day via the MPOWER website. Applications are open until the last Friday of the month.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment: Must be admitted to or enrolled in a full-time degree program at one of the schools MPOWER supports in the U.S. or Canada.
• Legal Status: Must be an international student legally permitted to study in the U.S. or Canada.
  • For study in the U.S.:
    • Have a valid visa that permits study in the U.S., or
    • Be protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
  • For study in Canada:
    • Have a valid Canadian study permit.
  • Note: U.S. citizens studying in the U.S. and Canadian citizens studying in Canada are not eligible for this scholarship.
