GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAMMES

Types of Programmes:

Courses Certified by Regulatory Bodies and Institution: These are based on the requirements of regulatory bodies or institutions that have obtained accreditation or have affiliations with sister institutions.
Courses Certified by the College: These are short courses organized by the college with a standardized curriculum.

National Diploma:

Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

SSCE, WASC, GCE, NECO with credits in four (4) subjects relevant to the programme, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings, plus a science subject (e.g., Health Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Food and Nutrition).

Technician Cadre:

Programmes designated as technician require a minimum entry qualification of:

Three (3) credits in O’Level WASC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO, plus two (2) passes. The credits must be in Biology, Health Science, Physics, Chemistry, or any other science subject, plus passes in English and Mathematics (not more than two sittings).

Certificate Course:

Programmes designated as certificate require a minimum entry qualification of:

Five (5) O’level passes at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, or NECO, including English Language, Mathematics, and Biology/Health Science. Chemistry is required for certain programmes.
