Postgraduate Diploma

Graduates of MAU Yola or any recognized university with at least a Third-Class Degree in relevant disciplines.
Holders of a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit (GPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale) in a relevant discipline.
Holders of other professional qualifications accepted by the School of Postgraduate Studies and the University Senate.
In special cases, candidates may be admitted after passing department/school-prescribed tests or examinations.

Master’s Degree

Holders of a first degree from MAU Yola with at least Second Class Honours in a relevant subject.
Holders of equivalent qualifications from other recognized universities.
Candidates with a Third-Class Honours degree or HND with Lower Credit (CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale) may be eligible if they:
- Have a relevant Postgraduate Diploma with Lower Credit (CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale) or
- Pass any prescribed qualifying examination for admission.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Master’s Degree Program by Coursework and Thesis or Project Report (Full-Time): Minimum duration of 3 semesters (18 calendar months) and maximum duration of 6 semesters (36 calendar months)
