MOAUM Preliminary Technology Admission 2026/2027. Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly Benue State University, has opened applications for its Preliminary Technology and Industrial Studies programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme is designed for candidates preparing for the UTME while also providing an opportunity to address deficiencies in their SSCE subjects before being considered for admission into the relevant degree programmes.

MOAUM Preliminary Technology Admission Requirements
Candidates must have at least four credits in relevant subjects, including English Language, in an accepted qualification.
Accepted qualifications include:
- SSCE
- GCE
- NABTEB NTC or NBC
- City & Guilds (C&G) I or II
- Federal Craft Training Certificate
- TC II
- Any other equivalent qualification approved by the university

O’Level Deficiency and UTME Preparation
One of the purposes of the preliminary programme is to help candidates address deficiencies in their O’Level subjects.
Candidates who have fewer than the required five relevant O’Level credits are expected to make up the missing subjects before placement into their preferred degree programme.
The programme also includes JAMB registration guidance and intensive UTME coaching. Candidates will be prepared toward achieving the score required by the university management for admission.
MOAUM Preliminary Studies Application Fee
The application fee is ₦5,000 and is non-refundable.
Applicants are required to complete the online pre-registration process first. An application number will be generated after the pre-registration is submitted, and this number is required for payment.
