MOAUM Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form 2026/2027

MOAUM Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form 2026/2027; Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly Benue State University, Makurdi, has invited qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates to register for its 2026/2027 online admission screening exercise.

Registration will begin on Monday, 13 July 2026 and close on Monday, 31 August 2026.

Candidates must have selected MOAUM as their first-choice university or change their institution of choice to MOAUM before completing the screening registration.

Who Is Eligible for the MOAUM Post UTME/DE Screening?

The screening exercise is open to candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME and Direct Entry applicants seeking undergraduate admission into MOAUM.

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • MOAUM must be the candidate’s first-choice university.
  • Candidates who initially selected another institution must change their first choice to MOAUM.
  • The candidate must meet the minimum UTME score for the chosen programme.
  • The required O’Level qualifications must be available where applicable.

The general minimum UTME score is 150, although some programmes require higher scores.

Candidates should confirm that their UTME score meets the requirement for the programme they intend to study.

Programmes Accepting 150 UTME Score

Candidates with a score of 150 and above may apply for programmes offered by the Faculty of Education.

Programmes Requiring 160 UTME Score

A minimum score of 160 is required for programmes under:

  • Administration and Management
  • Arts
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Science, except Computer Science and Biochemistry
  • Social Sciences
  • Technology and Industrial Studies

Programmes Requiring 180 UTME Score

Candidates need at least 180 for:

  • Architecture
  • Communication and Media Studies
  • B.Sc. Computer Science

Programmes Requiring 200 UTME Score

A minimum UTME score of 200 is required for:

  • B.Sc. Microbiology
  • B.Sc. Human Anatomy
  • B.Sc. Human Physiology
  • B.Sc. Biochemistry

Programmes Requiring 220 UTME Score

Candidates applying for the following programmes need at least 220:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science
  • B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science

Programmes Requiring 240 UTME Score

A minimum score of 240 is required for:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
  • Bachelor of Laws

MOAUM O’Level Requirements

UTME candidates must have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Other subjects relevant to the chosen programme

The results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

MOAUM Post UTME/DE Screening Fee

The online screening fee is N2,000.

Payment will be made through the University’s E-Payment platform after the candidate’s JAMB registration details have been verified.

How to Register for MOAUM Post UTME/DE

Candidates can complete the registration online through the MOAUM admission portal.

The registration process is as follows:

  1. Visit the MOAUM admission portal.
  2. Open the “Admission” menu.
  3. Select Post UTME/DE Verification.”
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number and click “Next.”
  5. After verification, click “Proceed” to access the E-Payment platform.
  6. Pay the N2,000 screening fee.
  7. Return to the admission portal after payment.
  8. Open the “Admission” menu and select Continue Registration.”
  9. Complete the biodata application form.
  10. Review the information supplied.
  11. Print the completed application form.

Candidates should keep the printed application form for future reference.

O’Level Results Must Be Uploaded to JAMB CAPS

All UTME candidates are required to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal.

Direct Entry candidates must upload their relevant A-Level results to JAMB CAPS.

Candidates who fail to upload the required results to JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.

Uploading results during the MOAUM screening registration does not replace the separate JAMB CAPS upload requirement.

Candidates Required to Change Their Programmes

Some applicants have been directed to change from the programmes they initially selected to other programmes specified by the University.

B.Sc. Mass Communication Applicants

Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication should change to other programmes offered by the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.

BN Nursing Applicants

Candidates who applied for BN Nursing should change to other science-based programmes, particularly programmes offered by the Faculty of Science and College of Health Sciences.

Vocational and Technical Education Applicants

Candidates who applied for Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes offered by the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, particularly Industrial Technology.

Affected candidates should ensure that their programme records reflect the required change.

What Should Candidates Do After Registration?

After completing the screening registration, candidates should:

  • Print and keep their completed application form.
  • Confirm that their JAMB details are correct.
  • Ensure their required O’Level or A-Level results have been uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
  • Check the University portal regularly for admission updates and further instructions.

MOAUM Post UTME/DE Registration Dates

The important dates are:

  • Registration begins: Monday, 13 July 2026

Can Candidates Who Selected Another University Apply?

Yes.

Candidates who initially selected another university can apply after completing a Change of Institution to MOAUM through JAMB.

MOAUM must become the candidate’s first-choice university before registration.

Does the Screening Include Direct Entry Candidates?

Yes.

The screening exercise covers Direct Entry candidates who selected MOAUM as their first choice.

Direct Entry applicants should upload their relevant A-Level or qualifying results to JAMB CAPS as required.

Is the MOAUM Screening Conducted Online?

Yes.

The registration and screening verification process will be completed online through the University portal.

Candidates will verify their JAMB details, pay the screening fee, complete their biodata and print the completed application form.
