Requirements for 100 Level UTME Admission

Candidates applying through UTME must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Must score a minimum of 150 in the UTME.
  • Must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects.
  • The credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • English Language and Mathematics must be included among the required credits.

Requirements for 200 Level Direct Entry Admission

Candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into 200 Level must meet the following conditions:

  • Possess at least five SSCE credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Present an acceptable higher qualification relevant to the intended course of study.

Acceptable qualifications include:

  • At least two A’Level passes in relevant subjects
  • National Diploma (ND) with credit grades
  • A good first degree in another discipline

The qualification presented must be relevant to the course for which admission is being sought.
