Entry Requirements for ND Biomedical Engineering
To be eligible for the ND programme in Biomedical Engineering, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Biology
- A JAMB score of at least 150 with the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics or Biology
Bonus Advantage:
Extra credit or passes in the following technical subjects will be an added advantage:
- Basic Electronics
- Basic Electricity
- Technical Drawing
- Woodwork
- Metalwork
- Auto-Mechanics
All candidates must also participate in a Post UTME screening test as part of the admission process.
Entry Requirements for HND Biomedical Engineering
To apply for the HND programme, candidates must:
- Meet all ND entry requirements.
- Hold a National Diploma (ND) in Biomedical Engineering from a school accredited by the NBTE.
- Have completed at least one year of industrial training (I.T.) or relevant work experience.
The work experience is essential for ensuring candidates are prepared for the advanced practical and theoretical components of the HND programme.
How to Apply for LUTH FSBE Biomedical Engineering Admission

- Visit the Portal: Go to luth.gov.ng/schools.
- Select Your Programme: Choose Biomedical Engineering from the list of available schools.
- Create an Account: Fill in the Account Creation Form using a valid email address.
- Make Payment:
- Log in and click “MAKE PAYMENT”.
- You will be redirected to the Remita payment platform.
- Pay the application fee of ₦10,000 using your preferred payment method.
- Complete the Application:
- After successful payment, log in to your profile and complete the full application form.
- Ensure all information is accurate before submission.
- Print Bio-data:
- After submitting the form, a bio-data slip will be sent to your email.
- Print and keep it—you will need it for the entrance examination.
