LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Form for 2024/2025. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, invites applications for its Pre-Degree Science Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. This programme offers aspiring students a chance to enhance their knowledge in science-related fields and prepare for future degree programmes.
Programme Options
Applicants can choose from a variety of undergraduate programmes, divided into Group A and Group B. One programme must be selected from each group, but both choices cannot be from the same group.
Group A: Choose One Programme
- College of Health Sciences: Medicine, Physiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Anatomy, Medical Laboratory Science
- Engineering and Technology: Chemical, Civil, Electrical/Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Food, Agricultural Engineering
- Renewable Natural Resources: Fisheries and Aquaculture, Forest Resources Management, Wildlife and Ecotourism Management
- Food and Consumer Sciences: Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Consumer Science, Hospitality and Tourism Management
- Computing and Informatics: Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Library and Information Science
Group B: Choose One Programme
- Agricultural Sciences: Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Animal Production and Health, Animal Nutrition, Crop Production, Environmental Protection
- Environmental Sciences: Architecture, Fine and Applied Arts, Urban and Regional Planning, Building, Estate Management, Surveying and Geoinformatics
- Pure and Applied Sciences: Pure and Applied Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Earth Sciences, Science Laboratory Technology, Statistics
- Management Sciences: Transport Management, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Marketing
- Arts and Social Sciences: English and Literary Studies, Philosophy, History, Sociology
Programme Duration and Structure

The programme runs for six months, with an additional mandatory three-month ICT training.
Admission Requirements
Candidates must have five O’ Level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agricultural Science, from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings. Awaiting results are acceptable, provided they are submitted before the programme concludes.
Application Process
- Visit the LAUTECH Admission Portal.
- Pay ₦15,000 for the application form via an Interswitch-enabled debit card.
- Submit the completed form online.
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: Friday, November 29, 2024.
- Entrance Examination: Thursday, December 5, 2024, 9:00 a.m., at the new ICT complex (Computer-Based Test).
