LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Form 2025/2026; The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. The application form is available online for completion starting from Tuesday, July 1, 2025, via the university’s official application portal: https://apply.lautech.edu.ng.
Programme Duration
The Pre-Degree Programme will run for six (6) calendar months, with an intensive and compulsory three (3) month ICT training component included in the schedule.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess at least five (5) O’ Level credit passes at not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations: WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
Required subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- And any three of the following:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography, Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Government, Literature in English, History, Civic Education, Yoruba, CRS/IRS.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below to apply for the LAUTECH Pre-Degree Programme:
- Visit the Application Portal:
Go to https://apply.lautech.edu.ng - Payment of Application Fee:
Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦15,000 using an Interswitch-enabled Debit (ATM) card. - Complete the Online Form:
Carefully fill and submit the online application form. Note that incomplete applications will not be processed. - Print Acknowledgement Slip:
After submission, download and print the Acknowledgement Slip with your passport photograph as proof of successful application.
Closing Date for Application
- The deadline for submission of completed application forms is Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
- Late submissions will not be entertained.
Entrance Examination
- Date: Thursday, October 9, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM
- Venue: LAUTECH New ICT Complex
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Only candidates who complete their application before the deadline will be eligible to sit for the entrance exam.
Placement into Degree Programmes
Admission into LAUTECH degree programmes is not automatic. Candidates will be considered based on:
- Performance in the Pre-Degree Programme
- Fulfilment of all admission requirements
- Availability of space in the preferred degree programme
- Participation in the ICT Intensive Training
- Successful sitting of the 2026 UTME and meeting the university’s cut-off mark
Choice of Programmes
- Each applicant is expected to select two (2) undergraduate programme options from different faculties.

- B.Tech. is a 5-year programme
- B.Sc. and B.A. are 4-year programmes
