LASUTH School of Anaesthetic Technology Admission Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session; The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into the fourth batch of its School of Anaesthetic Technology for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme is designed to train students in Anaesthetic Technology through a three-year part-time course. Successful candidates will receive certificates in Anaesthetic Technology upon completion and qualify to work as Anaesthetic Technicians in healthcare settings.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the School of Anaesthetic Technology at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.

The programme provides specialised training in Anaesthetic Technology and prepares graduates for careers as Anaesthetic Technicians after successful completion of the course.

Programme Duration and Study Mode

The Anaesthetic Technology programme is a three-year part-time course.

Prospective applicants are advised to note the study mode before obtaining the application form, as the programme will be conducted on a part-time basis.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates seeking admission must satisfy the age and O’Level requirements specified by LASUTH.

• Possess five O’Level credit passes in WASC, NECO, or SSCE.
• Have credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
• Have credit passes in at least two core science subjects.
• Present results obtained in not more than two sittings.

Applicants must have five credit passes in WASC, NECO, or SSCE, with English Language and Mathematics being compulsory subjects.

In addition, candidates must have credit passes in at least two of the following science subjects:

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics

All O’Level results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Documents Required for Submission

Screening Process

LASUTH will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) as part of the admission process.

The CBT will be held at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

Candidates who successfully pass the CBT will be invited for an oral interview.

Oral Interview

Applicants who qualify after the Computer Based Test will be required to present the original copies of their relevant certificates during the oral interview.

While photocopies of credentials are to be submitted with the application form, the originals will be verified during the interview stage.

The sale of application forms will close four weeks from the date of publication.
