LASUTH 2023/2024 admission into certificate course in caregiving; The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, is set to launch its CAREGIVER ACADEMY, offering training for Carers. Applications are now open for suitably qualified candidates interested in undergoing training as Carers for the 2024 academic session.

This program spans a duration of 3 months and is conducted on a full-time basis, leading to the attainment of a Certificate upon successful completion.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Prospective applicants must meet the following criteria or their equivalents: Possession of Five (5) O’ Level Credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
AGE CRITERIA: Candidates must fall within the age bracket of 25 to 45 years.
COURSE DURATION:
The program spans a duration of 3 months on a full-time basis. Upon completion, successful trainees will receive a certificate. Additionally, there is an option for international certification through a UK caregiver academy, which incurs an extra cost.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Interested and eligible candidates are required to obtain an application form from the Administrative Office situated in the MRC Building at LASUTH.
Completed application forms should be submitted alongside photocopies of the applicant’s credentials, curriculum vitae (CV), two (2) recent passport photographs on a white background, and either the WAEC/SSCE/NECO certificate or printout of the result slip.
Applications should be addressed to: The Chief Medical Director, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), 1-5, Oba Akinjobi Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.
A Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, for screening purposes.
Successful candidates will be invited to provide their original copies of relevant certificates for screening during an oral interview.
