LASUCAS 3rd International Conference – Exploring Brazil and Africa Relations October 2024. Lagos State University’s Centre for Afrobrazilian Studies (LASUCAS) is set to host its 3rd International Conference from 28th to 30th October 2024.
The event aims to bring together scholars and experts from around the globe to explore the deep connections between Brazil and Sub-Saharan Africa. The conference will focus on fostering intellectual exchange and strengthening South-South cooperation for mutual growth.

The conference is organized in collaboration with Brazilian institutions, including the Federal University of Bahia, Instituto Hoju in Rio de Janeiro, and the Laboratory of African Studies at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Researchers are invited to submit papers on topics related to:

- Postgraduate Students: N15,000
- Foreign Participants: $20
