Lagos State University (LASU) is gearing up for its third International Conference, hosted by the Centre for Afrobrazilian Studies (LASUCAS). This exciting event will bring together global scholars to explore the connections between Brazil and Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on South-South cooperation for growth.

Last Call for Papers: Sub-Themes
The conference is in collaboration with Brazilian institutions like the Federal University of Bahia and the Instituto Hoju. Researchers are invited to submit papers on topics such as:
- African language and culture in Brazil
- Politics, society, and economy
- Afro-diasporic literature
- Racial classification and black identity
- African and Afro-Brazilian philosophy and culture
- Music, dance, and performance
