LASU Announces Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Hospital Admin. and Mgt. for 2025/2026 Session; The Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with LASU Consult Limited and the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Hospital Administration and Management for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This programme aligns with the University’s mission of delivering qualitative and practical education to Lagosians by equipping them with essential skills to efficiently manage the public and private health sectors of the state.
Programme Overview
Programme Title: Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and Management
Duration: One (1) Academic Year
Application Fee: ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only)
The programme is multi-disciplinary and tailored to meet the administrative and managerial needs of professionals working in or aspiring to work within the healthcare and hospital management sectors.
Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the programme must possess any of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Holders:
- A good bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Humanities, or Social Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Must have five (5) credit passes at O’Level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- HND Holders:
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences, Sciences, or Management Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Must also have five (5) credit passes at O’Level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Mature Candidates:
- Applicants with relevant working experience in the health or management sector and at least three (3) credit passes at O’Level may be considered for admission based on merit and professional competence.
Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates should:
- Obtain application forms from the Workforce Planning and Recruitment Unit, located at the MRC Building, LASUTH, Ikeja.
- Submit completed application forms along with the following documents:
- Photocopies of all academic and professional credentials
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs on a white background
- Any other relevant supporting documents
Screening Process
- All applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
- Successful candidates will then be invited for an oral interview, during which they must present the original copies of their certificates and other relevant documents for verification.
Closing Date
The deadline for submission of completed application forms is six (6) weeks from the date of this publication — Tuesday, 4th November to Thursday, 18th December 2025.
