Lagos state extends BECE registration by two weeks; The registration date for the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been extended by the Lagos State Ministry of Education. This was said by Orunsolu Adebayo, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, in a statement.
The board advised Public Junior Secondary Schools, approved Private Junior Secondary Schools, and Special Schools that the April 14 deadline had been extended to April 28.

According to the statement, the extension was necessary due to problems encountered by schools as a result of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s cashless policy, which made registration processes difficult for most institutions, and epileptic seizures. Services for Networks
According to the director, the government did not want to deny any school or its candidates the opportunity to participate in the examination, therefore the need for the extension. All impacted schools were advised to take advantage of the chance, as excuses will not be accepted after the revised date has passed.
