- First Choice Candidates: Candidates who have selected Kwara State University, Malete as their first choice institution.
- Change of Institution Candidates: Candidates who wish to choose KWASU as their first choice must change their institution on the JAMB Portal before the Pre-Admission Screening Registration.
Eligibility Requirements
- O’Level Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) O’level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings. However, candidates applying for MBBS must have their O’level credits in one sitting.
- Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting O’level results may also apply but must ensure their results are available before the admission exercise concludes.
Post-UTME/DE Cut-off Mark, Eligibility, and Registration Details
Registration/Screening Fees: A non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only.
2024/2025 Undergraduate Pre-Admission Registration and Screening Procedure
- Visit the KWASU Portal and click on “Click here to apply”.
- Select the Undergraduate link at the top menu bar.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Continue”.
- Complete the basic information page with valid personal details including a phone number and email address.
- On the payment review page, click on “Make Payment” to proceed to the payment page.
- Enter your ATM card (MasterCard or Visa) details and submit.
- Enter the “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete the payment.
- After successful payment, log in using your JAMB registration number and surname as password.
- Complete your registration on the dashboard and ensure to print the completed registration form and payment receipt.
Note: In case of payment issues, you can re-query your payment attempts by entering your JAMB registration number and phone number to display a re-query interface, and then re-query the unsuccessful payment attempt. For assistance, contact: helpdesk@kwasu.edu.ng.
Important Information
- Final admission is contingent on meeting the University’s and the Academic Programmes’ minimum scores in UTME/DE, and the availability of spaces within the NUC-approved admission quota for KWASU.
- Candidates are warned that falsification of citizenship certificates or any documents will result in disqualification and prosecution.
