Kwararafa University Post-UTME/DE Admission 2025; Kwararafa University, Wukari (KUW), established in 2005, is a community-owned and promoted institution of higher learning, licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. All academic programmes are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The university offers a variety of undergraduate programmes across its colleges, as well as the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme for prospective students seeking Direct Entry admission.

General Admission Policy
Kwararafa University admits students from all backgrounds regardless of race, religion, gender, tribe, or political affiliation. Candidates must meet both general and departmental entry requirements.
Admission Requirements
1. Admission through UTME
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent (including English Language and Mathematics) in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- UTME score of 150 and above.
- Successful participation in the Post-UTME screening conducted by the university.
2. Admission through Direct Entry (DE)
- Five (5) credit passes (including English Language) in SSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent, in relevant subjects (not more than two sittings).
- At least two A-Level passes in relevant subjects in GCE or equivalent; OR Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with credit; OR Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) with credit; OR passes in two IJMB/JUPEP subjects out of three.
3. Admission into 300 Level
- Holders of HND or Third Class Degree are eligible to apply.
IJMB/Diploma Programme
The IJMB Programme is a one-year nationally recognized qualification that grants successful candidates Direct Entry admission into 200 Level in Nigerian universities.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum of four (4) credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Subjects offered include: Literature-in-English, History, CRS, Government, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Agricultural Science, and more.
- A combination of any three subjects can grant admission into a degree programme of your choice.
