KOMU Post UTME and Direct Entry Form 2026/2027; Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) has announced the commencement of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Registration opens on Monday, 1 June 2026 and closes on Friday, 31 July 2026. Eligible candidates who selected KOMU as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants, are invited to register.
Candidates are required to complete the online application process, pay the prescribed ₦2,000 non-refundable processing fee, and print their acknowledgement slip before the screening exercise.
KOMU Post UTME Registration Dates
The registration schedule is as follows:
- Opening Date: Monday, 1 June 2026
- Closing Date: Friday, 31 July 2026
Only candidates who successfully complete and submit their online applications within the registration period will be considered for admission.
Who Can Apply for KOMU Post UTME?
The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply:
- Candidates who selected Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME.
- Direct Entry candidates who applied to KOMU.
- Candidates who did not initially choose KOMU but scored at least 150 in UTME and are willing to complete a change of institution to KOMU through JAMB CAPS.
Admission into each programme remains subject to meeting the minimum JAMB score specified for that programme.
Courses Restricted to Original First-Choice Candidates
The following programmes are available only to candidates who selected KOMU as their first-choice institution during the original 2026 UTME registration:

Candidates who changed to KOMU after the UTME registration period will not be considered for admission into these programmes.

Direct Entry Requirements
Direct Entry applicants must possess any of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:
- OND
- HND
- First Degree
- A’Level qualifications
In addition, candidates must possess:
- Five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects.
- Results obtained in not more than two sittings.
The Direct Entry qualification must be relevant to the intended course of study, and all details supplied during registration must correspond with JAMB and academic records.
How KOMU Will Conduct the Screening Exercise
The screening exercise will be based on:
- Verified JAMB scores
- Uploaded O’Level results on JAMB CAPS
Accepted O’Level results include:
- WAEC
- NECO
- GCE
- NABTEB
