The extension of the 2023 UTME registration deadline has been announced by JAMB. This is stated in a statement made accessible by Fabian Benjamin, the board’s head of public affairs and protocol. He stated that the UTME registration will finish on Wednesday, February 22, while the selling of ePINs would now stop on Monday, February 20.

Benjamin said that reports from all around the nation indicated that some Nigerians were having trouble accessing electronic channels to buy the ePINs or easily obtain the cash within the allotted time, necessitating the delay.
The purpose of the extension is to provide everyone who wanted to register for the UTME in 2023 the chance to do so, especially in light of the fact that the current difficulties were not their fault. Only authorized JAMB CBT registration and testing centers are used for candidate registration.
He also revealed that as of the conclusion of the sale of ePINs on Tuesday, February 14, 1,527,068 candidates had successfully registered for the 2023 UTME exercise, including the 168,748 who had expressed interest in taking the mock UTME.
The JAMB exam will take place on April 29th, 2023, and last through May 12 on a Monday.
