JAMB CAPS 2025/2026 Admission – Monitor & Confirm Your Admission Status

JAMB CAPS 2025/2026 Admission – Monitor & Confirm Your Admission Status; The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for the 2025/2026 admission exercise is now active. Candidates can now monitor their admission status and know when they have been offered admission.

Once a candidate is offered admission on JAMB CAPS, such candidate is required to do either of two things:

  • Accept the admission
  • Reject the admission

Many institutions have already started uploading their admission lists on the JAMB Portal. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to closely monitor their admission status on CAPS and take immediate action when offered admission.

It is important to note that some schools may not publish admission lists on their portals or notice boards. For such schools, the only way to confirm admission is through JAMB CAPS.

How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

  1. Visit JAMB e-Facility Portal and log in with your registered email address and password.
  2. Click on Check Admission Status.
  3. Select Access my CAPS.
  4. Click on Admission Status to know if you have been offered admission.

What You Will See:

  • If admitted: Your photo image will be displayed along with a congratulatory message.
  • If not yet admitted: You will see the message “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”

Accepting or Rejecting Admission

  • To accept or reject admission, send ACCEPT or REJECT as SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
  • Candidates have 4 weeks to respond (accept or reject).
  • If you no longer have access to your registered phone number, visit a JAMB-accredited centre for assistance.

After accepting the admission, candidates should:

  • Print their admission letter (required for clearance and registration at their school).

Important Notes for Mobile Users

  • If you are using a phone, you may not see the Admission Status option on CAPS.
  • Switch your browser to desktop mode to view the full page.
  • Chrome browser is recommended – simply select “Request Desktop Site” under Chrome options.
