JAMB approves cut-off marks for 2024 admissions: JAMB has set 140 as the cut-off mark for admission into universities and 100 for polytechnics and colleges of education. This was announced by JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, on Thursday in Abuja at the 2024 JAMB Policy meeting.

Details of the Meeting

The meeting, attended by the Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, vice-chancellors, rectors, registrars of higher institutions, and other stakeholders, was convened to set the admission guidelines for the year.

JAMB Policy on Screening

JAMB has also set the amount for Post-UTME screening at N2,000. Institutions interested in conducting any form of screening can do so, but the charge for the screening should not exceed N2,000.
