Essential Steps for Generating Your Profile Code

  1. Obtain Your NIN
    • The National Identification Number (NIN) is a mandatory requirement for UTME/Direct Entry (DE) registration.
  2. Generate Your Profile Code
    • Use your personal GSM number to send a text (SMS) to either 55019 or 66019.
    • Format: NIN <space> 12345678901 (where “12345678901” represents your 11-digit NIN).
    • Example: NIN 12345678901
    • Send this message to 55019 or 66019.
  3. Receive Your Profile Code
    • After sending the SMS, you will receive a 10-character profile code on the same phone number.
    • Note: The phone number used for this process will be tied to your application, examination, and admission records. Ensure it remains active and secure.

Important Warnings

PRACTICE PAST QUESTIONS HERE (JAMB, WAEC, NECO, POST-UTME)

  1. Avoid Using Henna (“Laa’li”/”Lale”) on Fingers
    • The application of henna may obstruct biometric verification, which is critical for registration and examination.
    • Attempting to remove henna with chemicals could damage finger whorls, complicating the biometric process.
  2. Safeguard Your Fingers
    • Ensure your fingers are free from cuts, injuries, or substances that could hinder biometric scanning.
    • Without successful biometric verification, candidates will not be granted access to the examination hall or question papers.

Why Biometric Verification is Important

  • Biometric authentication is used to confirm your identity during both registration and examination.
  • It ensures fairness, prevents impersonation, and enhances security in the examination process.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to complete these preparatory steps as soon as possible to ensure a smooth registration process. Be proactive, follow the guidelines, and safeguard your details to avoid unnecessary challenges during registration and examination. Good luck!
