JABU Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026; The College of Postgraduate Studies at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) administers postgraduate admissions in line with the university’s academic policies, as approved by the Principal Officers, the Postgraduate College Board, and the directives of the National Universities Commission (NUC). The College, headed by a Dean, continues to produce graduates who contribute significantly to national and community development across various fields and disciplines.

Masters Degree Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into Master’s degree programmes at JABU must meet the following requirements:
- O’Level Requirement:
- Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
- First Degree Requirement:
- A first degree in a cognate field from Joseph Ayo Babalola University or any other recognised university with at least Second Class Honours, or
- A Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in a cognate field from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale.
- Food Science and Technology (M.Sc):
- Candidates with a minimum of Second Class Lower in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, Engineering, or related disciplines may be considered but will be required to make up for deficiencies as deemed appropriate.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Insurance and Risk Management Option:
- A graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and Actuarial Science may be considered for admission.
- Architecture (M.Sc):
- A Postgraduate Degree in Architecture qualifies for admission into the M.Sc Architecture programme.
- Candidates from institutions other than JABU must provide evidence of industrial training totalling a minimum period of six months.
- Interview Requirement:
- All candidates will be required to undergo an oral or written interview as part of the selection process.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Admission Requirements
Applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma must meet the following requirements:
- O’Level Requirement:
- Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
- Academic Qualification:
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in a cognate field from a recognised institution, or
- A minimum of a Third Class degree from a recognised university.
Method of Application

There are two ways to apply for JABU Postgraduate Admission:
1. Offline Application
Application forms can be obtained at the Academic Office, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, or at any of the designated centres listed below upon presentation of a ₦10,000 bank draft drawn in favour of Joseph Ayo Babalola University.
Important: The applicant’s full name must be written at the back of the bank draft.
