JABU Post-UTME/Direct Entry (DE) 2025; Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into undergraduate degree programmes on a full-time basis at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) for the 2025/2026 academic session. Admission is open across various Colleges and Departments of the University.
General Admission Requirements (UTME Admission)
Candidates seeking admission into Joseph Ayo Babalola University must meet the following requirements:
- O’Level Requirements:
- Possess GCE, O’Level, SSCE (WAEC), NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent qualifications.
- Have a minimum of five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at one or two sittings.
- JAMB UTME Requirement:
- Candidates must have applied to JAMB for admission and scored the required cut-off mark.
- Those wishing to change their first-choice institution to JABU must:
a) Apply for a change of institution through JAMB.
b) Obtain the Joseph Ayo Babalola University Application Form.
c) Participate in the screening exercise.
- Awaiting Result Candidates:
- Candidates awaiting results can also apply, provided their results will be available by September 2025.
- JAMB Cut-Off Mark:
- Candidates who scored 150 and above in the UTME are eligible to apply.
JABU Post-UTME Screening Details
The Post-UTME/DE screening exercise for the 2025/2026 session will hold as follows:
- Dates: Monday, 18th August 2025 and Tuesday, 19th August 2025
- Time: 9:00 a.m. daily
- Venue: University Auditorium, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU)
- Required Documents: All candidates are expected to come with their original credentials for verification.
- Candidates can attend on any of the two scheduled days.

Screening exercises will also hold at designated locations for candidates’ convenience:
- Lagos Office: 50, Ikorodu Road, Fadeyi Bus Stop, Lagos State.
- Abuja Office: Christ Apostolic Church, FCC DCC Headquarters, Stadium/Games Village, Roundabout before VIO Office, Area 1, Abuja.
- Port Harcourt Office: Christ Apostolic Church, 25 Umuduru Street, Mile 3, Diobu, Port Harcourt.
- JABU Main Campus: Oba Olashore Auditorium, Km 22, Akure Ilesha Express Way, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.
Candidates are advised to report with all necessary documents and strictly observe all screening protocols at their chosen location.
Method of Application
Follow the steps below to apply for JABU Post-UTME/DE 2025:
- Visit the JABU Admission Portal: https://portal.jabu.edu.ng/
- Click the “Fill Admission Form” tab to access the application form.
- Create a Student Account:
- Fill in your details and click the “Create Account” button.
- Ensure you use a valid email address to activate your account.
- Activate Your Account:
- Check your email inbox (or spam folder) for the activation email and click the provided link.
- Log in to the e-Portal:
- Use your student login details to access the portal.
- Complete Your Biodata:
- Fill out your biodata and upload all required documents in JPEG format.
- Check Your Email:
- Look out for a response from the Admissions Officer containing further instructions and confirmation of your screening date.
