Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia Opens IJMB Admission for 2025/2026; Applications are now open for the 2025/2026 Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) programme at Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia. This is a golden opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into Nigerian universities upon successful completion of the 12-month IJMBE programme.

Programme Details:

  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Tuition/Application Fee: ₦4,315 only

The IJMBE programme is designed to prepare students for university-level education through intensive academic training and is a recognized alternative to the UTME route into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.


Entry Requirements:

To be eligible for admission into the IJMBE programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. O’Level Requirements:
    • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
    • The five subjects must include three core/basic subjects relevant to the desired course of study.
  2. Special Consideration:
    • Candidates who do not have a credit pass in either Mathematics (for Arts students) or English Language (for Science students) may still apply.
    • However, such candidates must remedy the deficiency within the duration of the IJMBE programme.
