IBBUL Post-UTME/DE Screening for 2025/2026;
The management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapa hereby informs all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected the University as their first choice in the 2025 UTME to participate in the online screening exercise scheduled between Wednesday, 10th September, and Sunday, 28th September, 2025.
Eligibility for the Screening Exercise
- Candidates must have a minimum UTME score of 150 and must have uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates are required to upload scanned copies of their Advanced Level results (IJMB, NCE, or Diploma) along with their O’Level results.
- Please note: A’Level NABTEB results are not acceptable for this screening exercise.
Screening Process
The online screening consists of three (3) stages:
Stage 1: Eligibility Check
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to confirm eligibility.
- If eligible, provide your mobile phone number and O’Level results (maximum of two sittings). Acceptable exam bodies include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and NBAIS.
- Input your Result Checker (scratch card) PIN(s) carefully.
- Generate a transaction ID/invoice through the payment gateway.
- A non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 is payable for the process.
Stage 2: Payment
- Branch Collect: Print out the transaction ID/invoice slip and make payment at any listed bank.
- WebPAY: Select this option to pay online via the payment gateway.
- Further payment instructions are available on the UTME Results Screening Portal.
Stage 3: Result Submission
- After payment confirmation, candidates will receive an SMS with login details.
- Log into the portal to input your results and other required information.
- Print out your acknowledgement slip after submission for personal reference.
Important Notes:
- Supplying false information will lead to disqualification.
- Candidates can supply a maximum of two different O’Level results.
- Those using Awaiting Result (AR) must upload the results before the conclusion of the admission exercise.
- Failure to complete the online screening means automatic disqualification from admission consideration.
