Eligibility for UNILAG Direct Entry Screening
To qualify for the UNILAG Direct Entry Screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- You must have chosen UNILAG as your first choice in the 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) JAMB application.
- You must have obtained five credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- You must be at least 16 years of age by October 31, 2024.
Important Notes for Applicants:
- If you will not be 16 years old by October 31, 2024, you are not eligible to apply.
- Ensure that your personal details (name, date of birth, state of origin, etc.) are consistent across all your documents.
- Failure to participate in the online registration will disqualify you from being considered for admission.
- Former students whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance may re-apply, but only for a different course.
- Expelled students are not eligible to re-apply for admission.
How to Apply for the UNILAG Direct Entry Screening
Follow these steps to complete your Direct Entry application:
- Visit the UNILAG Admissions Page:
- Navigate to the official University of Lagos website and go to the 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) Application section.
- Log in:
- Use your Direct Entry Application number as your username and your surname (in lowercase) as the password.
- Generate and Print Payment Advice:
- After logging in, generate and print the payment advice for the ₦2,000 screening fee.
- Payment:
- Proceed to any commercial bank to make the payment or pay online via the UNILAG portal.
- Complete the Screening Form:
- Return to the UNILAG portal to fill out the screening form.
- Upload Relevant Documents:
- Upload your results from any applicable qualifications, such as First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level, etc.
- Review and Submit:
- Verify all your details before submitting the form to ensure accuracy.
- Print E-Registration Slip:
- Print out your Direct Entry e-registration slip after submitting the form.
- Submit Documents:
- Submit the printed e-registration slip and your credentials to the Admission Office at Room 174, Senate House, UNILAG between Monday, October 7 and Friday, October 25, 2024.

Important Advisory
UNILAG enforces a zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse. Any student found positive for drug use during testing will have their admission withdrawn, regardless of whether the testing is conducted before or after registration.
