Duration of the Award:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Enrolled in the first 12 months of doctoral study or have an offer of place for doctoral study at Massey University.
  • Have a GPA of 7.0 or higher.
  • Researching a topic of strategic value to the University.
  • Agree to the conditions of the scholarship as outlined in the scholarship regulations.
  • Must be enrolled in the doctoral programme no later than March 1 of the year following the award.

Application Process:

  1. Secure Admission:
    • Ensure you have secured admission into your chosen doctoral programme with a conditional or unconditional offer of place letter before the scholarship closing date.
    • Allow a minimum of 4 weeks for admissions applications to be processed.

  2. Prepare Your Documents:
    • Write a research outline (200-1000 words) including the key disciplinary areas, aims, significance, and theoretical and methodological frameworks of your proposed project.
    • Ask your primary supervisor to complete the Supervisor Support Template and upload the completed form to your Student Portal when you submit your scholarship application.
  3. Submit Your Application:
    • Ensure you have all the required documents.
