Eligible Countries: African Union Member States
Location: Mauritius
Type: Undergraduate, Masters, PhD
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be resident citizens of African Union member states or African Commonwealth countries.
- Age requirements: Above 18 years and not exceeding 26 years by January 1, 2025, for undergraduate programs; not exceeding 35 years for Master’s programs; and not exceeding 45 years for PhD programs.
- Applicants must have applied for full-time on-campus studies at any public Tertiary Education Institution in Mauritius for the academic year commencing in 2024.
- Qualification Entry Requirements: Successful completion of end-of-secondary school with minimum grade requirements, or equivalent qualifications.
- English Language Proficiency: TOEFL or IELTS test results with minimum scores of 550 or 5.5 respectively, or equivalent proof of English language proficiency.
- Candidates holding undergraduate degrees or self-financing candidates already studying in Mauritius are not eligible.

Value of Scholarships:
- Tuition fee coverage.
- Contribution towards living expenses.
- Airfare from the country of origin to Mauritius at the beginning of studies and return at the end of studies, by the most economical route.
Duration of Scholarship:
- Undergraduate Diploma: Three (3) years
- Undergraduate Degree: Four (4) years
- Master’s: Two (2) years
- PhD: Three (3) years
