Admission Requirements for GSU Postgraduate Programmes
- O’Level Requirements:
- A minimum of five relevant credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Programme-Specific Requirements:

Duration of GSU Postgraduate Programmes
- Master’s Programmes (M.A./M.Sc.):
- Minimum: 2 academic sessions
- Maximum: 3 academic sessions
- Professional Master’s (MPA/MBA):
- Minimum: 12 calendar months
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Minimum: 1 academic session
- Maximum: 2 academic sessions
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.):
- Minimum: 3 academic sessions
- Maximum: 5 academic sessions
Application Process for GSU Postgraduate Admission

- Payment:
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000 through the Gombe State University Remita platform.
- Receipt Collection:
- Submit the payment teller to the Bursary Department to obtain your receipt.
- Application Form:
- Collect the application form at the School of Postgraduate Studies or start your application online via the GSU Application Portal.
Submission of Transcripts for GSU Admission
You must submit your academic transcript, either electronically or by post:

- Send transcripts to: pgschool@gsu.edu.ng.
- Ensure the email subject follows this format:
- “Transcript: Name of Programme, Name of Applicant, Year of Application.”
- The transcript must include a covering letter, be signed and stamped, and come from the awarding institution’s official email address.
Postal Submission
- Transcripts must be sealed and stamped with the institutional seal.
