Gaya Polytechnic Recruitment 2026; Gaya Polytechnic has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for academic and non-academic staff positions across teaching, administration, ICT, finance, planning, health services, security and other professional areas.
The Polytechnic was established in 2025 by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as the second Polytechnic in Kano State.
However, serving members of the Kano State Civil Service are not eligible to participate in the recruitment exercise.
The recruitment advertisement also cancels and replaces Circular No. 1/2026, with reference HCS/MIS/S/359/V.15 dated 26 January 2026, which concerned the deployment of staff to the newly established Polytechnic.

Candidates may qualify with a relevant Master’s degree and at least 12 years of teaching, research or industrial work experience.
This route requires three conference or seminar papers and three journal articles accepted for publication, or contributions of two chapters to standard textbooks.
