FUTO Supplementary Post UTME Form 2026/2027. The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has opened its supplementary Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The supplementary screening is open to eligible candidates who selected FUTO as their first-choice university, as well as candidates who initially chose another institution but are willing to change their choice to FUTO through JAMB.
Registration runs from 24 September to 8 October 2026.
The minimum UTME score is 150 for most of the advertised programmes, while some programmes require a minimum score of 170. Candidates must also meet the relevant O’Level requirements and ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS by 8 October 2026.

How to Apply for FUTO Supplementary Post UTME
Eligible candidates should complete the application through the FUTO undergraduate application portal.
The application process is:
- Visit the FUTO website.
- Select Prospective Students.
- Select Undergraduate.
- Open the FUTO undergraduate application portal.
- Select Generate Invoice.
- Enter your JAMB registration number to generate the payment invoice.
- The invoice will contain your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Pay the applicable screening fee at a bank or with an ATM card.
- Return to the FUTO undergraduate application portal.
- Select Application Form.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click Login.
- Complete the application form with the required information.
- Carefully review all the information entered.
- Submit the application online.
- Print your acknowledgement slip.
- Await further communication from FUTO.
Important: Filling the application form does not complete the process. Candidates must select Submit after completing the form. Only applications that are successfully submitted online will be considered.
FUTO Supplementary Post UTME Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the university’s stated requirements before applying.
Applicants must:
- Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.
- Have the required JAMB subject combination for their chosen programme.
- Have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Obtain the required O’Level credits in not more than two sittings.
- Meet the minimum UTME score for the selected programme.
- Ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
- Ensure the programme selected on JAMB CAPS matches the programme entered on the FUTO application portal.

Can Candidates Who Did Not Choose FUTO Apply?
Yes.
Candidates who did not initially select FUTO as their first-choice institution may participate in the supplementary screening if they scored at least 150 in UTME and change their choice of institution to FUTO through JAMB.
Candidates who already selected FUTO as their first choice can also apply if they meet the other requirements.

FUTO Supplementary Post UTME Screening Fee
The application fee depends on whether the candidate previously applied for the earlier FUTO Post-UTME screening exercise.

How FUTO Will Conduct the Supplementary Screening
The 2026/2027 supplementary screening will be based on candidates’ verified JAMB scores and O’Level results available on JAMB CAPS.
This makes it important for candidates to ensure that their admission information is correctly reflected on JAMB CAPS before completing the FUTO application.
The programme selected on JAMB CAPS should correspond with the programme entered on the FUTO supplementary application portal.
JAMB CAPS and O’Level Requirements

Candidates must complete and submit their applications within this period. Merely filling the form without completing the final submission will not constitute a successful application.
