FUTO Post-UTME/DE Form 2025/2026; The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise.


Key Dates

  • Application Opens: Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025
  • Application Closes: Sunday, 31st August, 2025
  • Deadline for O’Level Upload on JAMB CAPS & Submission of Transcripts (DE): Sunday, 24th August, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

  1. UTME Candidates
    • Must be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2025.
    • Must have scored a minimum of 150 in UTME.
    • Must have at least 5 O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects (not more than two sittings).
    • MBBS Candidates: Must have the required 5 credits (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) at ONE sitting.
    • Candidates who did not initially choose FUTO as first choice but scored 150 and above may apply after changing to FUTO on JAMB CAPS.
  2. Direct Entry Candidates
    • Must hold OND, HND, First Degree, or A’Level qualifications in relevant disciplines.
    • Academic transcripts must reach the Registrar by 24th August, 2025.

  • School of Logistics & Innovation Technology: Logistics & Transport Technology, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Project Management Technology, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Science Technology.
  • School of Health Technology: Environmental Health Science, Dental Technology.
  • School of Biological Sciences: Biochemistry, Biological Science, Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Microbiology.

  • School of Environmental Sciences: Architecture.
  • School of Electrical Systems & Engineering Technology: Telecommunication, Computer, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering.
  • School of Physical Sciences: Science Laboratory Technology.
  • School of Basic Medical Sciences: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology.

Programmes Requiring Minimum JAMB Score of 200

  • College of Medicine: MBBS.

Registration Procedure

  1. Visit the FUTO Undergraduate Portal or FUTO official website.
  2. Click “Generate Invoice” and enter your JAMB Registration Number to obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
  3. Pay the N2,000 application fee via:
    • Bank payment (using RRR invoice), or
    • ATM card online payment.
  4. Return to the portal, click “Application Form”, and log in with your JAMB registration number.
  5. Complete and verify the online form carefully.
  6. Click “Submit” to finalize your application.
  7. Print the Acknowledgement Slip for reference.

Screening Method

  • Screening will be based strictly on verified JAMB scores and O’Level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
  • Candidates must ensure that their personal details (JAMB registration number, date of birth, state of origin, etc.) on JAMB CAPS match what they provide during registration.

Important Notes

  • Candidates must provide valid email addresses and phone numbers for updates.
  • Failure to register within the stipulated period will result in disqualification.
  • Only candidates who successfully complete the online registration will be considered for admission.
