FUTB Post-UTME & Direct Entry Form for 2025/2026 Admission. The Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB), Jigawa State, has officially released its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening form for the 2025/2026 academic session. Eligible candidates are now invited to apply for admission into undergraduate programmes across various disciplines.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for the FUTB screening, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- UTME Candidates must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- Direct Entry Candidates must possess:
- A minimum of Lower Credit in a National or Innovative Diploma, or
- At least 4 points in IJMB from two subjects.
- All applicants must have five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Departmental Cut-Off Marks
The university has specified cut-off marks for each course as follows:
School of Engineering and Technology
- Civil Engineering – 160
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering – 150
- Mechanical Engineering – 150
School of Science, Information & ICT
- Computer Science – 150
- Cyber Security – 160
- Software Engineering – 150
- Chemistry – 150
- Industrial Chemistry – 150
- Mathematics – 150
- Physics – 150
- Applied Geophysics – 150
- Biology – 150
- Biotechnology – 150
Note: There are potential scholarship opportunities for candidates applying to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Geophysics — subject to availability and performance.
Application Timeline
- Start Date: Monday, 28th July 2025
- Deadline: Saturday, 31st August 2025
Late applications will not be considered once the portal closes.
How to Apply
- Visit the FUTB official website.
- Navigate to the Admission Menu and select the Post-UTME Portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number. Your selected course will appear automatically.
- Click on “More Information” to review requirements, then select “Apply Now.”
- Create an account:
- You may sign up using Google, or
- Fill in the manual sign-up form and verify your email using the confirmation code sent to you.
- Log in and proceed to the payment page.
- Pay the screening fee (amount to be displayed on the portal).
- After payment, proceed to complete your application form.
- Review all information, then click “Preview and Submit.”
If You Encounter Payment Issues
If your payment is marked as pending:
- Go to your dashboard.
- Locate Transaction History.
- Click the three-dot menu beside the transaction and select “Check Status” then “Try Again.”
- If the payment was successful, it will update accordingly.
