FUPRE Pre-Degree & JUPEB Admission Form 2025/2026; The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) — Africa’s first petroleum university and sixth in the world — is inviting applications from qualified candidates for admission into its School of Sub-degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. These include the Pre-Degree (Basic) and Foundation (JUPEB) programmes.
FUPRE is located in Ugbomro, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State, and offers specialized academic training tailored to the oil, gas, and allied industries.
1. Pre-Degree (Basic) Programme
Programme Duration:
September 2025 – August 2026 (One Academic Session)
Objective:
To prepare candidates for admission through UTME into 100-Level undergraduate programmes in FUPRE.
Admission Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects including English Language, in not more than two sittings
- Awaiting results are accepted
- Applicants will be invited for a qualifying written examination
- Admitted candidates must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦25,000
- No refund of tuition after withdrawal

₦10,000 (non-refundable), payable via the portal at https://subdegree.fupre.edu.ng
2. Foundation (JUPEB) Programme
Programme Duration:
September 2025 – August 2026 (One Academic Session)
Objective:
To prepare candidates for admission into 200-Level degree programmes at FUPRE and other JUPEB-affiliated institutions in Nigeria and abroad.
Admission Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects including English Language, in not more than two sittings
- Awaiting results are not accepted
- Qualifying entrance examination is required
- Admitted candidates must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000
- No refund of tuition after withdrawal
Criteria for 200-Level Admission:
- Candidates must sit for the JUPEB Examination
- Direct Entry JAMB Form is required for transition into 200-Level
Application Fee:
₦15,000 (non-refundable), payable via the portal at https://subdegree.fupre.edu.ng
Important Dates to Note:
- Application Deadline: 12:00 AM, Sunday, 31st August 2025
- Entrance Examination: Thursday, 4th September 2025, by 9:00 AM at the FUPRE ICT Building
- Commencement of Lectures: Monday, 22nd September 2025

- Create an account and fill out the application form
- Pay the non-refundable application fee (₦10,000 for Pre-Degree or ₦15,000 for JUPEB) online
- Submit the completed application and print your confirmation slip
