FUPRE Post-UTME Form 2025/2026; The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
Important Dates
- Application Start Date: Sunday, 20th July 2025
- Closing Date: Friday, 22nd August 2025
- Examination Start Date: Monday, 25th August 2025
Candidates are to check their individual examination dates and times on their application confirmation page after registration.
FUPRE Post-UTME Cut-Off Mark & Eligibility
- Candidates must have scored 170 and above in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates must have selected FUPRE as their first choice institution in JAMB.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects (GCE, SSCE, WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) in not more than two sittings.

1. Engineering, Physical Sciences & Statistics
Programmes:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Marine Engineering

Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
2. Chemistry & Industrial Chemistry
Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or Biology
3. Environmental Management & Toxicology
Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or Physics
4. Maritime Programmes
- Maritime Economics & Finance: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other subject.
- Maritime Transport & Logistics: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any other subject.
5. Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)
Candidates must choose their preferred area of specialization and write the corresponding subject combination:
- Biochemical Technology: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics
- Biological Technology: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics
- Petro-Chemistry Technology: English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics
- Physics Instrumentation Technology: English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
Note: Candidates will only be considered for admission into the specialization corresponding to the Post-UTME subjects they sat for.
6. Computing Programmes
Programmes: Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering
Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Studies
How to Apply for FUPRE Post-UTME 2025
Follow the steps below to complete your registration:
- Visit the Registration Portal: https://utme.fupre.edu.ng/panel/
- Make Payment:
- Click Make Payment, enter your JAMB Registration Number, and click Validate.
- Follow the payment instructions to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and complete your payment online or at any bank.
- Apply Online:
- Click Apply Now, enter your RRR number, and click Proceed.
- Fill out the online application form carefully.
- Verify & Submit:
- Cross-check all details entered before submitting.
- Print Confirmation: Print your application confirmation page.
- Check Admission Status:
- Login with your JAMB Registration Number and password to monitor your admission status.
Important Notes
- Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for admission.
- Ensure that your O’Level results are correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
- Late registration will not be entertained.
