FUOYE SUG Notice to Freshers on Medical Screening for 2025/2026 Academic Session; As the 2025/2026 academic session begins, the Students’ Union Government (FUOYESUG) is committed to making the transition from aspirants to full-fledged students seamless and stress-free. The Better Days Cabinet has assured new students of full support — from accommodation and registration to medical screening, and even safeguarding them from individuals who may try to take advantage of them financially or otherwise.
Medical Screening for Freshers
The University management, through the SUG, wishes to inform all newly admitted students that:
- Medical screening will commence on Monday, October 6th, 2025.
- The exercise will take place at the University clinics on both Oye Campus and Ikole Campus.
- Freshers are advised to eat well and prepare adequately, as the screening process may be rigorous.
- Any case of extortion or breach of protocol should be immediately reported to the SUG representatives who will be present throughout the exercise.
Subsidized Printing for Freshers
To ease the onboarding process, the Office of the General Secretary has also made provisions for subsidized printing services across both campuses. Further details will be communicated to students shortly.
Final Words from FUOYESUG
Congratulations once again to all freshers on officially becoming FUOYEites. The SUG remains fully committed to ensuring that your campus life is smooth, safe, and fulfilling.
Welcome to a new academic journey with better days ahead!
