FUOTUOKE Announces New Appointments and Establishment of Two New Faculties; The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has announced key academic appointments and the establishment of two new faculties following the approval of the University Senate at its recent meeting.
1. New Appointments
The University Senate has approved the following new leadership appointments within the institution:
- Prof. Dennis Oju Allagoa – Provost, College of Medical Sciences
- Prof. Joshua Charles Isirima – Dean, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences
- Prof. Kosioma Eli Owede – Director, Centre for Niger Delta Studies and Sustainability
These appointments reflect the university’s commitment to academic excellence, effective leadership, and sustainable institutional growth.
2. Establishment of New Faculties
In a major development, the Senate also approved the creation of two new faculties, increasing the total number of faculties in the university from thirteen (13) to fifteen (15).
