FUNATO Post UTME and Direct Entry Form 2026/2027; The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), has announced the commencement of its admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the University’s National Universities Commission (NUC)-approved undergraduate programmes. The screening exercise is open to both UTME candidates applying for 100 Level admission and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into 200 Level.

All eligible candidates are required to complete the online admission screening process within the specified registration period.

Eligibility Requirements for FUNATO Post UTME

Candidates applying through UTME must meet the following conditions:

  • Choose the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho as their first-choice institution or change to FUNATO through JAMB.
  • Score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
  • Possess the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen programme.

Candidates whose UTME subject combinations do not meet the requirements of their preferred courses must change to an appropriate programme through JAMB CAPS before registering on the FUNATO admission portal.

FUNATO Age Requirement

All applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 30 September 2026.

This age requirement applies to candidates seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 academic session.

O’Level Requirements

Candidates must possess any of the following:

  • A minimum of five relevant O’Level credit passes obtained at one sitting, or
  • A minimum of six relevant O’Level credit passes obtained at not more than two sittings.

The required credits must include:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics

Acceptable examination bodies include:

  • WAEC (WASSCE)
  • NECO
  • GCE

The required subjects must be relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must:

  • Obtain the Direct Entry form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  • Choose or change to FUNATO as their first-choice institution.
  • Complete the FUNATO Direct Entry screening registration.

Only candidates who satisfy these requirements will be considered for admission through the Direct Entry route.

Direct Entry Transcript Submission Deadline

All Direct Entry candidates are required to submit their academic transcripts to the Registrar on or before:

31 August 2026

Accepted qualification transcripts may include:

  • A-Level results
  • NCE
  • OND
  • HND

Candidates should ensure that transcripts reach the University before the deadline.

How to Apply for FUNATO Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening

Candidates are required to complete the application online through the FUNATO admission portal.

Applicants should use their JAMB Registration Number as their username and their surname as the default password during login.

Application Procedure

  1. Visit the FUNATO admission portal.
  2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number (for example, 202412345678EG).
  3. Use your surname as the initial password (for example, OYESANMI, CHIBUZOR or UMAR).
  4. Pay the portal access fee and screening fee through the admission portal.
  5. Complete the online self-screening form.
  6. Print the payment success receipt.
  7. Ensure that your O’Level results have been uploaded to JAMB CAPS before the screening registration closes.
