FUNAI Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Form
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2023 UTME and selected Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State as their first choice institution are eligible to apply.
- For candidates interested in studying Medicine and Surgery, a minimum score of 250 in the UTME is required.
- For Law aspirants, a minimum score of 240 in the UTME is mandatory to be eligible for the University’s Post-UTME.

An array of programs are available across various faculties, including but not limited to:
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
- Faculty of Education
- Faculty of Engineering and Technology
- Faculty of Environmental Sciences
- Faculty of Humanities
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Management Sciences
- Faculty of Biological Sciences
- Faculty of Physical Sciences
- Faculty of Social Sciences
- College of Medical Sciences (Medicine and Surgery)
Additional Information:
- Candidates who scored a minimum of 250 in Medicine and Surgery, 240 in Law, and 150 in other programs in the 2023 UTME and did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first choice institution can still apply for Post-UTME by completing the “Change of Institution/Course” process on the JAMB Portal before October 1st, 2023. This applies to both UTME and DE candidates.
- Prospective candidates can also register for the Post-UTME through AE-FUNAI ICT Centres situated at the University CBT Centre or the Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.
- During registration, candidates are advised to provide easily accessible GSM numbers for efficient communication.
- False information detected during the screening and admission process will lead to automatic disqualification.
Registration Procedure:
Eligible candidates should follow these steps to register:
- Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng.
- Click on ADMISSIONS or QUICK LINKS, and select 2023/2024 UTME Admission Screening or 2023/2024 Direct Entry Admission Screening.
- Click on “Prospective Students.”
- Click on “Click to Apply” under 2023/2024 Admission Screening Application.
- Enter your “JAMB Registration Number.”
- Select your payment mode and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference Number.
- Proceed to any bank for payment using your Remita number.
- Return to the Application page and re-enter your “JAMB Registration Number.”
- Complete the form and submit your application.
- Print your acknowledgement slip.
Screening Method:
The 2023/2024 academic session Post-UTME screening will be based on the assessment of JAMB UTME results and verified O/Level and DE results. There will be no Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the PUTME. Candidates must ensure their O/Level and DE results are uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before October 1st, 2023. Applications without result upload will not be processed.
