FUNAAB SUG Commences Mandatory Registration of Hostel Agents; The Student Union Government (SUG), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the commencement of registration for all hostel agents operating outside the campus.
This initiative is designed to regulate the activities of hostel agents and to protect students from exorbitant accommodation fees and exploitation.

Strong Warning to Hostel Agents

The SUG has made it clear that:
- Unregistered agents will not be tolerated.
- Any individual or entity found extorting or exploiting students will face decisive disciplinary action.
Registration Details
- Deadline: September 1, 2025
- Registration is mandatory for all individuals operating as hostel agents.
- Failure to register will attract strict consequences, including:
- Prohibition from operating as a hostel agent.
- Reporting offenders to relevant authorities.
- Other disciplinary actions as deemed necessary by the Student Union Government.
