FUNAAB Notice to All Matriculating Students 2025/2026 Academic Session; All matriculating students are hereby informed that the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, alongside the 13th Commencement Lecture of the University, will be held at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building on Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
All matriculants are required by regulation to wear academic gowns. Gowns and caps can be obtained from the respective Colleges starting from Monday, 17th November 2025. These items must be returned not later than Monday, 24th November 2025, by 12 noon.
- Late return of gowns/caps will attract a fine of ₦20,000.
- Loss of gown/cap will attract a replacement fee of ₦30,000.
Matriculants must present and submit a photocopy of evidence of payment of school fees for the 2025/2026 session at the College Office before collecting academic gowns and caps.
The Matriculation Ceremony and Commencement Lecture will commence promptly at 10:00 a.m. All entrances to the venue will be closed as soon as the Vice-Chancellor’s Procession begins. Students are therefore expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
Matriculation is not complete without signing the Matriculation Oath online. Failure to do so implies that the individual is not yet recognized as a student of the University.
