FUNAAB Inter-University Transfer Application Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session; The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has commenced applications for its Inter-University Transfer Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The exercise provides eligible students from recognised Nigerian universities with the opportunity to transfer and continue their academic programmes at FUNAAB.

The application portal opens on Monday, 13 July 2026, and interested candidates who meet the university’s requirements are invited to apply.

Applicants will pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦50,000, which includes REMITA processing charges.

Who Can Apply for the FUNAAB Inter-University Transfer?

To be eligible for the transfer exercise, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Be a registered student of a recognised university in Nigeria.
  • Have gained admission into their current university through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  • Meet the minimum CGPA requirement for the intended programme.
  • Be willing to arrange for their official academic transcript to be sent directly to FUNAAB.

Candidates are advised to confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements before making payment, as the application fee is non-refundable.

FUNAAB Minimum CGPA Requirements

The university has specified different CGPA requirements depending on the programme of study.

The required CGPA must be obtained as of the second semester of the current academic session.

Applicants with CGPAs below the stated minimum for their preferred programme will not be considered.

Academic Transcript Requirement

Every applicant must arrange for an official academic transcript to be sent directly by their current institution to:

The transcript must come directly from the applicant’s current university, as it forms an important part of the evaluation process.

How to Apply for FUNAAB Inter-University Transfer

Eligible candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the FUNAAB Admissions Portal.
  2. Carefully read the Inter-University Transfer guidelines.
  3. Access the application platform using the JAMB registration number shown on your original JAMB Admission Letter.
  4. Complete the online application form with the required information.
  5. Print the completed application form.
  6. Submit the printed copy to the Senate and Admissions Unit of the university.

Applicants should ensure that the JAMB registration number used during the application matches the one on the original JAMB Admission Letter.

After completing the online application, candidates must print the application form and submit it to:

Completing the online application alone does not complete the transfer process.

Will Every Applicant Be Admitted?

No. Meeting the basic requirements and paying the application fee does not guarantee admission.

Only applicants who satisfy all the eligibility conditions, including the required CGPA, JAMB admission status and transcript submission, will be considered for inter-university transfer into FUNAAB for the 2026/2027 academic session.
