FULOKOJA Registration and Clearance Guidelines for Newly Admitted Students 2025/2026. The Management of Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) wishes to inform all newly admitted students that registration and clearance for the 2025/2026 academic session have commenced.
To be eligible for clearance as an admitted candidate, please carefully read and follow the information and steps below.
Eligibility for Clearance
- Your admission must be approved on JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
- You must have accepted the offer of admission on JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates who have not yet received an admission or transfer offer are advised to visit the nearest JAMB Office or accredited JAMB CBT Centre to check their admission status. Note: A mobile phone may not be sufficient for processing admission details.
GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION
STEP 1: ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER
- Visit the University website – www.fulokoja.edu.ng.
- Navigate to Admissions → Undergraduate → Post-UTME Portal and log in with your JAMB Registration Number to confirm your admission status.
- Once confirmed, click “Pay Now” to pay the ₦20,000 Acceptance Fee through Remita (card or bank payment).
- Confirm your payment on the University website.
- Print your Admission Letter and Letter of Undertaking.
STEP 2: O’LEVEL RESULT VERIFICATION
If you have not uploaded a fresh O’Level (NECO/WAEC/NABTEB) Scratch Card, you must upload it for verification.
Note: The scratch card can only be used once. Submitting incorrect details or invalid cards leads to automatic disqualification of admission.
For WAEC Candidates:
- Visit www.waec.org and create a candidate account.
- Select “Certificate Access (Candidates)” and complete the sign-up form.
- Log in, provide your exam details, and access your certificate.
- Click “Share” → choose your certificate → enter the email used on your FULOKOJA Post-UTME portal → click “Proceed.” Note: WAEC charges ₦7,500 for certificate access, payable to WAEC—not FULOKOJA.
For NECO Candidates:
- Visit everify.neco.gov.ng and Sign In (Individual).
- Click “Purchase Token” to generate a payment token via Remita.
- After payment, log in again to validate token payment.
- Submit your RRR and Payment Reference on your Post-UTME Portal for result verification.
- Once confirmed, proceed to Step 3.
STEP 3: PAYMENT OF SCHOOL CHARGES
- Visit www.fulokoja.edu.ng.
- Go to Students → Undergraduate → Student Portal and log in with your JAMB Registration Number.
- Under Fees, select your Academic Session and click “Pay Now” to process your School Charges payment via Remita (card or bank).
- After successful payment, print your School Charges Receipt.
- Complete and print your Student Bio-Data Form (Form 01).
Keep all printed documents safe — you will need them during resumption.
STEP 4: PHYSICAL REGISTRATION (ON RESUMPTION)
(i) Medical Certificate of Fitness
All new students must visit the University Health Services Centre to undergo a medical fitness test.
(ii) Course Registration
- Visit Student → Undergraduate → Student Portal → Course Registration to register your courses online.
- To confirm registration status, go to Student Portal → Printout → Course Form.
STEP 5: CLEARANCE PROCEDURE
FULOKOJA operates two campuses:
- College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Adankolo
- Felele Campus (Permanent Site) – home to Faculties of Arts, Agriculture, Education, Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, Management, Pharmaceutical Science, Science, and Social Sciences.
(a) Departmental Clearance
Submit three (3) copies of the following documents to your Departmental Administrative Officer:
- Acceptance Fee e-Payment Receipt
- Online School Charges Receipt
- Federal University Lokoja Admission Letter
- Student Bio-Data Form (Form 01)
- JAMB Result Slip (online printout) – for UTME candidates
- JAMB Admission Letter (Duplicate for Institution Use)
- Statement of Result/Certificate (for DE candidates)
- O’Level Result(s) (online printout)
- Signed Letter of Undertaking (original)
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin (or Residence Permit for non-Nigerians)
- Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
- Medical Certificate of Fitness from University Health Centre
- Completed Course Registration Form (portal printout)
- Ten (10) recent passport photographs with red background
Failure to present all required documents will result in automatic withdrawal of the admission offer.
(b) Submission to Other Units
Submit a copy of your Student Bio-Data Form (Form 01) and School Charges Receipt to each of the following:
- Student Affairs Division
- University Library
- Sports Unit
- University Health Services Centre
- University Counseling Centre
- Security Unit
- Directorate of ICT
CAUTION
- Always monitor your payments (Acceptance Fee and School Charges) to ensure successful completion. Fraudsters may issue fake receipts.
- Do not share your ATM or bank details with anyone claiming to assist with admission, accommodation, or results.
- A confirmation email from Remita will be sent to your registered email after each successful transaction.
- Report any suspicious or fraudulent activity to the Security Unit, Federal University Lokoja.
