Fully Funded Commonwealth Masters Scholarships UK 2026; The Commonwealth Masters Scholarship Programme (agency-nominated), one of the three scholarships offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), is now open for applications. This fully funded scholarship provides an opportunity for students from eligible Commonwealth countries to pursue a Master’s degree in the United Kingdom.
Scholarship Benefits

Each award covers:
- Approved airfare from home country to the UK and return after the award.
- Full tuition fees (covered by the CSC and UK universities).
- Living stipend:
- £1,452 per month (outside London).
- £1,781 per month (for universities in London).
- Warm clothing allowance, where applicable.
- Study travel grant for UK or overseas-related travel.
- Child allowance for widowed/divorced/single parents:
- £622 per month for the first child.
- £154 per month for the second and third child (under 16 years).
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of, or have refugee status in, an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
- Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be available to start studies in the UK by September 2026.
- By September 2026, hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1), or a lower second-class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
- Be unable to afford study in the UK without the scholarship.
- Provide all required supporting documentation in the correct format.
