FULAFIA Bursar Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic and Professional Requirements

  • Must possess a good honours degree in Accounting from a recognised institution
  • A higher degree is an added advantage
  • Must be a qualified member of a recognised professional body such as ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, or an equivalent

Work Experience and Rank

  • Must have at least fifteen years of relevant experience
  • Must have a minimum of ten years of continuous service within the university system
  • Must have attained the rank of Senior Deputy Bursar, or Deputy Bursar for at least five years, or an equivalent position in a university

Age and Computer Skill

  • Must not be above 60 years of age as of 5 May 2026
  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of relevant accounting software

Salary and Conditions of Service

The salary and conditions of service for the Bursar will be in line with what is obtainable in Federal Universities in Nigeria. No specific salary figure was provided.
