FUHSO Post UTME/Direct Entry Form 2026/2027. The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) has opened its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening exercise will run from 20 July to 20 August 2026. Eligible UTME and Direct Entry candidates can apply through the university’s online admission portal.

Who Is Eligible for FUHSO Post UTME?
UTME candidates must meet the university’s admission conditions for their chosen programme.
Applicants must:
- Select FUHSO as their first-choice university.
- Meet the minimum JAMB score for their chosen programme.
- Have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes.
- Obtain the required credits in no more than two sittings.
- Ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
- Have the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen programme.
Candidates who initially selected another institution can change their first choice to FUHSO through the JAMB portal.

Candidates must meet the cut-off mark specified for their chosen programme before applying.
O’Level Requirements
Applicants must have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, obtained in no more than two sittings.
The required subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Other subjects relevant to the chosen programme
Candidates should ensure that their O’Level subjects meet the requirements for their selected course.
Direct Entry Requirements
Direct Entry candidates must possess a relevant qualification in the discipline or subject required for their chosen programme.
Accepted qualifications include:
- First Degree
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- A’Level result
The qualification must have at least Lower Credit, Merit or an equivalent grade.
However, FUHSO will not admit Direct Entry candidates into the following programmes for the 2026/2027 session:
- Medicine and Surgery
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Public Health
How to Apply for FUHSO Post UTME/DE
Eligible candidates should complete their registration through the FUHSO Post UTME application portal.

Upload O’Level or A’Level Results to JAMB CAPS
Candidates must ensure that their O’Level or A’Level results are available on JAMB CAPS.
FUHSO will only consider applicants whose required results have been uploaded to the JAMB system. Candidates should therefore confirm their result-upload status before completing the screening registration.
Admission and JAMB CAPS
Candidates who fail to register for the FUHSO Post UTME screening will not be considered for admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
After admission is offered, candidates should regularly monitor their admission status through the JAMB portal. The notice states that an approved admission must be accepted within four weeks; otherwise, the admission will be cancelled and the candidate placed under the refusal-to-accept category.
Scholarship for Mathematics Applicants
Candidates admitted into the B.Sc. Mathematics programme may be eligible for a scholarship.
